Women’s Empowerment Program

Breaking the Chains of Poverty through Education

In Pakistan, where poverty and social marginalization are deeply entrenched, education for women—especially those from destitute communities—is a rare and precious gift. Without access to education, women are often defined as powerless, unseen, hopeless, and ignored. They face a life that feels predetermined by their circumstances—trapped in a cycle of poverty and oppression. But education is the key to unlocking a brighter future. It empowers women to break free from these labels and challenges, giving them the tools to change their lives, their families, and their communities.

At Created in His Image (CHI), we believe that every woman has the right to quality education, regardless of her background, faith, or social status. By sharing your skills, time, and financial support, you can make a profound impact on the lives of these women. Together, we can redefine their futures, giving them the opportunity to rise above their circumstances and build a life of dignity and independence.

Mission

To encourage, train, and support women in developing nations—especially those from impoverished backgrounds—in literacy (including basic math), health education, and economic empowerment.

Vision

Our vision is to empower illiterate women by providing them with essential reading and writing skills, teaching them basic hygiene and reproductive health education, and providing the vocational skills they need to improve their economic status. With a maternal mortality rate among the highest in the world, women in Pakistan are in urgent need of reproductive health education. Through our program, we aim to provide these women with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
We also aim to help these women build their self-confidence and self-esteem, empowering them to take charge of their lives, escape the cycle of abuse, and become agents of change within their families and communities.

Why Do This?

Pakistani Christian women often face a double burden of oppression. Not only are they marginalized because of their gender, but their faith also places them at the bottom of the social hierarchy. These women are frequently the victims of physical and mental abuse, and many are trapped in environments where they feel hopeless and voiceless. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive space where these women can find their voices and gain the skills needed to escape this cycle of abuse.

Through education, health training, and economic empowerment, we equip women with the tools to become independent and self-sufficient. We help them rise above societal constraints, breaking free from poverty and violence, and creating a better future for themselves and their children.

How You Can Help

Your donationskills, and time can be the lifeline that empowers these women to take control of their lives. By investing in their education, health, and economic potential, you help build a society that values all women, regardless of their circumstances.

Together, we can create a world where women are not defined by their poverty, faith, or gender, but by their strength, resilience, and capacity to lead.
