Mehak Tariq

Mehaq is 18 years old extremely shy girl, but physically, she appears to be 12. She is the youngest in her family. She has one sister and two brothers.

Tragically, one of her brothers passed away two years ago due to drug addiction, which has left a big scar on their hearts.

Mehaq’s father works as a porter in a railway warehouse, while her mother is a housewife.

Physically, Mehaq is in good health, but operate on a much younger age mentally, which affects her ability to interact with peers. She understands many things but has difficulty retaining information; sometimes, she even forgets her parents’ names.

She is very quiet, speaks softly when she does talk, and lacks confidence, possibly due to negative experiences when she first attempted schooling.

When she was seven, her parents attempted to send her to school. The teachers and students did not understand her condition, leading to abuse, and she was unable to continue.

Since joining our program, Mehaq’s attitude has significantly improved. She has shown an interest in jewelry, and we are helping her to make her own.

She is undergoing Occupational therapy to improve her motor skills. Her mother reports that Mehaq has become more active and now participates in household tasks. Her parents are content and feel confident that she is in good hands with our organization.
